1. Purpose and Scope
1.1 Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") defines the permitted and prohibited uses of the software products and services provided by CN Software LLC, dba Integration Plumbers ("Integration Plumbers," "we," "us," or "our"). This Policy forms part of the Agreement between Integration Plumbers and its customers, as referenced in the Integration Plumbers Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Scope
This Policy applies to all entities and individuals ("Customers" and "Authorized Users") who have been granted the right to access, install, configure, or use Integration Plumbers' software products pursuant to an applicable Order and the Terms and Conditions.
2. Permitted Use
2.1 Authorized Activities
Customers and their Authorized Users may use Integration Plumbers' software products solely for:
(a) Installing, configuring, and operating the software on Customer-managed infrastructure or a platform managed by a third party, in accordance with the applicable Order, Documentation, and recommended best practices.
(b) Using the software for its intended purpose of monitoring, managing, and reporting on infrastructure, database and application environments as described in the Documentation.
(c) Creating reasonable backup copies of the software for disaster recovery purposes, provided such copies are subject to the same terms and conditions as the original.
(d) Permitting Authorized Users to access and use the software within the scope and usage limits defined in the applicable Order.
2.2 Customer Responsibilities
In connection with the use of Integration Plumbers' software, Customers shall:
(a) Ensure that only Authorized Users access and use the software.
(b) Maintain the confidentiality of all license keys, credentials, and access information provided by Integration Plumbers.
(c) Maintain the infrastructure on which the software operates in accordance with the system requirements specified in the Documentation.
(d) Apply updates and patches provided by Integration Plumbers in a timely manner to maintain security and functionality.
(e) Notify Integration Plumbers promptly of any suspected security vulnerabilities or defects discovered in the software.
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 General Prohibitions
Customers and Authorized Users shall not, and shall not permit any third party to:
(a) Use the software in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
(b) Use the software to process, store, or transmit data that infringes upon any third party's intellectual property rights or that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
(c) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the software, or to any Integration Plumbers systems or networks.
(d) Introduce malicious code (including viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, or other harmful software) into the software or the environments in which it operates.
(e) Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the software or the systems on which it operates.
3.2 Intellectual Property Restrictions
Customers and Authorized Users shall not:
(a) License, sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, distribute, or otherwise make the software available to any third party except as expressly permitted in the Agreement.
(b) Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the software or any underlying technology, except as expressly permitted in the Documentation.
(c) Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this restriction.
(d) Access or use the software for the purpose of building a competitive product or service, or copying any features, functions, or user interface of the software.
(e) Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the software or Documentation.
3.3 Usage Limitations
Customers shall not:
(a) Exceed the usage limits (including the number of Authorized Users, monitored targets, or other metrics) specified in the applicable Order.
(b) Use the software on infrastructure or at a scale that exceeds the specifications described in the Documentation without prior written approval from Integration Plumbers.
(c) Share license keys or credentials across multiple installations or environments beyond what is permitted in the applicable Order.
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
4.1 Compliance Monitoring
Integration Plumbers reserves the right to monitor compliance with this Policy through reasonable means, including reviewing usage data provided by Customer, auditing license usage, and investigating reported violations.
4.2 Reporting Violations
Customers shall report any known or suspected violations of this Policy to Integration Plumbers promptly by contacting helpdesk@integrationplumbers.io.
4.3 Consequences of Violation
(a) Integration Plumbers may take any action it deems appropriate in response to violations of this Policy, including:
- Issuing a warning and requesting corrective action
- Suspending the Customer's license or access to support services
- Terminating the Agreement in accordance with the Terms and Conditions
(b) Violations of this Policy may constitute a material breach of the Agreement.
(c) Integration Plumbers reserves the right to pursue any legal remedies available for violations of this Policy.
5. Disclaimer
Integration Plumbers' software is designed to operate within the parameters described in the Documentation. Use of the software outside of these parameters, including on unsupported infrastructure configurations or at unsupported scale, may result in degraded performance or unexpected behavior. Integration Plumbers shall not be responsible for issues arising from use that does not conform to this Policy or the Documentation.
6. Policy Updates
Integration Plumbers reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Material changes to this Policy shall be communicated to Customers through reasonable means, such as email notification or publication in the Documentation. Continued use of the software following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
